Though the content for the topic of the Mammalian Digestive System and Disorders can be approached in several ways in regards to its instruction, the following lesson division is only one that has been interpreted and organized by an aspiring teaching candidate.
The number of lessons does not represent the number of days that coordinate with each lesson. Instead, the lesson structure encompasses the general idea that is to be conveyed and internalized by students. Should a lesson progress beyond a typical day's period of 75 minutes to ensure that a student achieves the full potential of learning said material, please continue to do so.

- Lesson #1: Digestive Anatomy and functions
- Students explore the physical aspects of digestive anatomy and learn of their respective function.
- Lesson #2: Digestive Chemicals and functions
- Students examine the secretions and digestive chemical additions from secondary digestive organs and their functions.
- Lesson #3: Digestive disorders of anatomy and chemicals
- Students explore and research relative disorders that exist within given systems. As they continue to examine medical disorders, they take the place of a medical doctor/entrepreneur in seeking new ways of addressing said disorder.
- Lesson #4: Medical Research
- Students examine and critique the current medical advances in approaching digestive disorders. They reevaluate their current ideas previously addressed in Lesson #3 and seek new ways in improving them for the medical field.
